Offering inspirational posts on food, fitness, family and fashion, Belinda Norton-Smith had amassed an 11k strong following through her @belinda.ns Instagram persona. Spotting a gap in the market, Belinda wanted to launch b.livewear – speaking to women, specifically mothers, who were seeking inspiration to live healthier, fitter lives. She approached Harmonica to generate a sophisticated, simple brand style that is uniquely ‘her’ – appearing much like a high end fashion brand, but engaging her target market.
Taking her nickname, ‘B’ we handcrafted an elegant monogram to work as the brand icon. Coupled with hand drawn lettering in black and gold, her branding is personal and simple. In order for imagery to be the hero across all collateral, we developed a simple tag device that immediately generates ownership without overshadowing the content.
Applying the new brand style to social media templates, a new website and several e-books we helped Belinda more than triple her online following whilst building partnerships with several prominent sportswear brands.
I couldn’t be happier with the work of the Harmonica team and my branding. It reflects who I am, and is adaptable so that I can have control of my own posts and marketing.
